Elliott Bunker

Elliott BunkerElliott is an award-winning actor and producer, and has been involved in theatre since he attended The Holy Family School in Welwyn Garden City and was expertly guided onto the stage by his teacher, Sylvia Jubber. Unfortunately Sylvia passed away a few years ago, but not before she was able to see him play Hamlet, one of his personal highlights.

It was Sylvia’s passion that inspired Elliott to continue treading the boards all through school and continue into his adult years. But it wasn’t until he joined The Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin back in 1991 that things began to get more serious. Since then Elliott has been lucky enough to perform and direct at The QMT many times. And has worked with many other local theatre groups, including; The Little Theatre and DAOS in Dunstable, and ACT Company in Luton.

Shortly after joining The QMT, Elliott met Nicki but it wasn’t until An Evening with Gary Lineker (the play, not a wild night out with a famous sportsman)  that their friendship flourished. They have been best buddies ever since.

In 1992 they set up bigredfunbus productions and continue to produce, act and direct for their own and other companies.
